Wensen Art Camp welcomes overseas Chinese artists and art enthusiasts working in writing, painting, sculpture, photography, and related fields.
We've only planted a small seed. We hope people from all walks of life, and the artists who benefit, will join us as co-creators — contributing and giving back with whatever resources they can, material, spiritual, or physical. Whatever you bring, we welcome it with gratitude.
Artist Residency
To join, you'll need a completed or in-progress work — a book, painting, photography series, sculpture, or similar. Artists may be invited or apply directly. Residencies run two weeks, and family members are welcome.
Camp Life & Activities
Camp tours, evening campfires, a half-day Montreal city tour, a half-day in the Plateau, and a public exchange gathering before each session closes, open to local literary friends.
Community Support
The Wensen Foundation has sponsored activities for Chinese community organizations including the Montreal Chinese Hospital and the Montreal Chinese Young Professionals Association, and will make Wensen Art Camp its primary funding focus going forward.
